Dayna K. Carter

Ms. Carter is a native Arkansan. After graduating from the University of Arkansas armed with a BA in Journalism she pursued her fortune on Madison Avenue in New York City as a copywriter in advertising. Five years later her portfolio and love of design landed her a job as an Art Director for Better Homes & Gardens Books. After a decade in the big apple, she moved to Dallas and gained another degree in Multimedia at the Dallas Art Institute. With a desire to develop metal art, she started a decorative arts business, Blooming Wands. She presently lives in her hometown of Hot Springs, Arkansas handcrafting metal products for home and garden environments as well as custom mobiles and fountains.
